BRIGHT SPIRIT DONATED IN-ROOM ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS TO SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN© IN BOSTON

March 11, 2010 - Boston, MA - The Bright Spirit Children\'s Foundation, which provides entertainment technologies such as video games, computers, televisions, and audio for hospitals that work with seriously ill children, has donated new in-room entertainment systems at Shriners Hospitals for Children © - Boston . This will provide therapeutic care to patients as they recuperate from their injuries in the hospital\'s Reconstructive Unit.

Shriners Hospitals for Children © - Boston project will include two phases with each patient bed space receiving a TV, DVD player and a gaming system. Bright Spirit programs are designed to uplift a child\'s spirit in the hospital, distract them from their illnesses, and help them to cope with fear, anxiety, and boredom.

Shriners Hospitals for Children© - Boston  is a 30-bed pediatric burn hospital, research and teaching center and is one of the three hospitals specializing exclusively in burn care operated by Shriners Hospitals for Children©.
